Double click the CC that you want to get rid of and it will automatically open your mods folder and highlights where the CC is. When the tab has loaded, you will see a list of CC that your Sim(s)/building has got.Click on your household/building with the CC that you want to get rid of and click on the CC tab at the top.The first thing you can see if a list of your Sims/households to the left. Exit your Sims 4 and open your Tray Importer.I recommend naming them as ' Broken/Old CC' so you can find them easily for later. Make sure you save the household/building with the CC you don't want into your library if it's a household, be sure that you get rid of any clothing/makeup/hair/accessories/tattoos that you want to keep from your Sims and only add the CC you want to delete onto your Sims.but i searched and i couldnt find the mods folder anywhere in the electronic arts the sims 4. i downloaded sims 4, (i had played it before on other laptops) and i wanted to put custom content in my game, like always. I recently got a new laptop and downloaded windows 10 on it. If you have any of those problems or if you just want to clean up your mods folder, this will help you! It allows you to see all the households/buildings you've saved in your gallery (alongside with CC or not) and gives you access to do various stuff with them it also shows some available CC that you can download!
